John Malkovich is in Sofia to perform at the national theatre (video)

World-renowned actor John Malkovich has arrived in Sofia. He presents details of the play he will star in at the National Theatre “Ivan Vazov” in Sofia.

"This play we will present to the Bulgarians is about the effects of unexpressed desires. And the price of desires you feel you cannot, or you are not allowed to or all of the above," Malkovic said.

"In the Solitude of the Cotton Fields" will be performed on three consecutive nights - Feb. 16, 17 and 18.

Malkovich will star alongside award-winning Lithuanian actress Ingeborga Dapkunaite.
