The Minister of Health Prof. Kostadin Angelov announced that a meeting with the Minister of Education, representatives of trade unions in the education system and employers' organizations is scheduled to discuss the vaccination of Bulgarian teachers and the anti-epidemic measures after February 4. "There are several possibilities - one is related to the gradual return of students to in-person classes. We are discussing various options. It seems that the most optimal and reasonable formula we are discussing is the return of three grades to in-person attendance, from 5th to 12th grade. with some gradual return of students, giving ourselves enough time - about three weeks in which they will be at school and three weeks they will not be, but these are projects we are working on," Angelov said.

The head of the Military Medical Academy and head of the coronavirus task force, Major General Prof. Dr. Ventsislav Mutafchyiski, and all medics who were vaccinated at the end of December 2020, also feceived the second dose of the Covid-19 vaacine. The first group hwo recived the vaccine included doctors, nurses and healthcare assistants who work in the ten COVID clinics of the MMA. "There has not been any side effects reported. Only one mild allergic reaction has been reported," he added.

A total of 717 people from the military medical academies have been vaccinated, 491 are from the Military Medical Academy in Sofia, the rest are in the hospitals in the country, Gen. Mutafchyiski said.
