Miroslav Ivanov will replace Nikola Minchev as Speaker of Parliament

Miroslav Ivanov from "We Continue the Change" will assume the role of Speaker of Parliament after the early release of Nikola Minchev.

Until now, Ivanov was the Deputy Speaker of Parliament.

Earlier today, June 16, MPs voted to remove Nikola Minchev from the post of Parliament Speaker.

"125 MPs voted in favour, 113 against and one abstained.

Even after the requested revote, the result was the same and Nikola Minchev was removed from the post.
