More new rules come into force tonight in relation to the Covid-19 epidemic

A new rule requiring fewer visitors to discos and nightclubs is introduced in Bulgaria as a measure to limit the spread of coronavirus in our country. The Order of the Minister of Health enters into force from 00:01 on October 23.

Visits to discos, piano bars, clubs and other nightclubs will be allowed with no more than 50% occupancy - if the seats are occupied by no more than one person per 2 square metres from the net commercial area of ​​the site. The change was agreed after the meeting of the Association of Restaurants with the Minister of Health Prof. Kostadin Angelov.

This way, we there will be physical distance between the visitors in order to break the epidemiological chain," the minister explained.

Restaurants will not close because we are already used to living along with the coronavirus. If in March it was necessary to close the whole country, now it is simply necessary to comply with the measures, because the closure of the state leads to great economic and psychological consequences for the people, it became clear after the meeting.

If necessary, other measures will be proposed next week.

Another order of the Health Minister is already in force, according to which the quarantine of persons who were in contact with coronavirus infected person is reduced from 14 to 10 days. The condition is that the contact person has no clinical symptoms.

During the self-isolation, the quarantined person is required not to leave his/her home for any reason and should not meet people from outside. It is recommended to be separated from relatives as much as possible at home - to stay in a separate room, and when leaving the room to wear a mask, to eat separately from the other family mebers, to use separate utensils, dishes and towels. Frequent disinfection of surfaces is also required.

In addition to the infected or sick, those identified as close contacts are also subject to isolation.

Bulgaria’s Health Ministry has published another order that makes wearing protective masks while outdoors mandatory. the order is in effect as of October 22.
