Nessebar remains on UNESCO's World Heritage List after it was under threat of being excluded following the organisation's latest report.
The decision to maintain Nessebar's UNESCO status was taken on September 14 at the UNESCO session in Riyadh.
A deadline has been given for the development of a plan for the conservation and management of the "Ancient City of Nessebar".
