On the air of BNT on January 23, former MP of “We Continue the Change”, Veliko Minkov, said he was the father of Gabriela Slavova's second child, a 4-month-old baby. She was married to Peyo, this is how Minkov's opportunity to claim his child was taken away.

"The child was planned, we wanted it," Veliko Minkov told BNT.
He and Gabriella had been in a relationship since 2020, but during her pregnancy she ended the relationship with him.
"That's when the more aggressive messages towards me started, which I attributed to the pregnancy hormones and hoped would pass, that we would fix our relationship," Veliko Minkov added.

Three weeks before giving birth, Gabriela married the murdered Peyo Peev, from whom she had a six-year-old child. Because of the marriage, Peev's name is also on the birth certificate of the younger child, whom Minkov claims to be the father of.
Minkov has already filed a lawsuit to establish his paternity. Peyo Peev's relatives say that Gabriela and her mother have also made it difficult for him to see his child.
"We met for the first time a week after my son was born, quite quickly, and came to an agreement that the biological father should be listed on the birth certificate. He has confirmed in our communication that there is no doubt. He categorically denied being the biological father," Veliko Minkov added.
"It was found out that he (Peyo Peev) had the same problems with access to his child and most likely that was his motive to marry Gabriela," said Plamen Borisov, Veliko Minkov's lawyer.
"He was misled about whether he would see the child, was limited in the time he could spend with him. Things that are now coming to light by his relatives," Veliko Minkov added.
Gabriela is accused of deliberately killing her husband along with his mother Krasimira Trifonova, who strangled him while his wife slammed the car door so he couldn't get out.
"It is most likely an accident. The murder took place in an obvious place, there's a camera there, it happened in front of the camera. Something occurred between them at the time of that evening that was the result of relations quite some time before. I can't explain how two women manage to break the resistance of one man," said Botio Botev, a criminalist.
In 2020, 33-year-old Gabriela worked for the municipality of Burgas. She graduated in European Studies in The Hague. Her colleagues saw nothing strange in her behaviour. She participated in charities. She was a candidate for MP in 2021. She is currently on maternity leave.
Her mother works in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She was a consul in Thailand. Her name is involved in a scandal involving allegations of sexual harassment against the ambassador. In 2010 she filed a complaint with the Commission for Protection against Discrimination, which was rejected. This decision was upheld by the Administrative Court.
“The mother is a person who gives the impression of being perhaps a bit unstable, but it is for psychologists and psychiatrists to evaluate," Veliko Minkov said.
On Facebook, Peyo Peev's relatives say he was an extremely good man. In their opinion, he was probably also a victim of domestic violence.
