New rules for entering Bulgaria from Covid-19 “red zone” countries in effect as of July 29
Caretaker Health Minister issued a new order on entering Bulgaria from countries from the Covid-19 red zone list. The order is in effect as of today, July 29.
Bulgarian citizens are required to present a certificate for vaccination or document proving they were ill and recovered from Covid-19 . they are also required to present a negative PCR test conducted not earlier than 72 hours before entering Bulgaria. If they do not have one, they are subject to a 10-day quarantine.
Foreign nationals travelling from the countries from the red zone list can enter Bulgaria only if they present a negative PCR test and without vaccination certificate, but are subject to obligatory quarantine.
