New stricter anti-Covid 19 measures introduced in Gabrovo district

New stricter anti-epidemic measures come into force in the district of Gabrovo (Central Bulgaria) today, October 4. The area has been designated as Covid-19 dark red zone in terms of morbidity.

By order of the director of the Regional Health Inspectorate, a ban is introduced for mass events. Fitness centres, swimming pools and spas are temporarily closed.

Cinemas and theatres operate at 30% of the capacity and with the obligatory wearing of protective masks.

Students from the district will study on a rotating basis, there will be both in-person attendance classes and distance learning. Kindergartens and nurseries remain open.

Visiting patients in hospitals is not permitted.

“Tota Venkova” Regional Hospital announced that they need volunteers to help for the disinfection of the common parts and for food delivery.
