Order of candidates on ballot paper for EP elections determined

Bulgaria’s Central Election Commission (CEC) on 24^th of April held a draw to determine the order in which the parties, coalitions and initiative committees will appear on the ballot paper for the May 26 European Elections.

13 parties, 8 coalitions and 6 independent candidates will take part in the elections.

The draw was held publicly in the presence of media and representatives of the political formations.

The order and the names of the candidates are as follows:

1. Patriots for Valeri Simeonov (National Front for Salvation of

Bulgaria - European Middle Class)

3. VMRO - Bulgarian National Movement

10. Coalition for Bulgaria (ABV)

11. Dessislava Ivancheva - independent candidate

12. GERB

13. Democratic Bulgaria

14. Ataka

16. DOST

18. BSP for Bulgaria

20. Movement for Rights and Freedoms

23. Volya

24. Movement 21
