Over 81,000 Ukrainians have entered Bulgaria since the beginning of the war, 38,000 have remained

As of 24 February, more than 81,000 Ukrainian citizens have entered Bulgaria trough the border crossings, the Border Police said. Of them, about 38,000 Ukrainians have remained on the territory of the country at the moment.

So far, 267 applications for protection have been submitted to officers of the Border Police by Ukrainian citizens entering our country. The applications have been sent to the State Agency for Refugees.
