Parallel vote count at 100%: Less than 2% difference between the first and the second in the mayoral runoff in Sofia
The difference between the first and the second in the mayoral runoff on November 5, Vassil Terziev and Vanya Grigorova, is narrowing to less than 2 percent, according to parallel vote count at 100% by Alpha Research polling agency.
- Vassil Terziev (“We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria, Save Sofia) - 48.6%
- Vanya Grigorova (Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), Left Party, etc.) - 46.8%
- Do not support anyone - 5%
"Gallup International" polling agency shows absolutely the same results from the 100% parallel vote count.
- Vassil Terziev (WCC-DB, Save Sofia) - 48.6%
- Vanya Grigorova (BSP, Left Party, etc.) - 46.8%
- Do not support anyone - 4.6%
On election night, both candidates said they would wait for the final results before answering questions from journalists.
