Pet pit bull kills owner

A 48-year-old man has died after being attacked by his own dog. The incident occurred today, April 19, at around 16 o'clock in the capital's Hristo Botev residential district.

Police and the municipal enterprise "Ecoravnovesie" were sent to the scene.

According to initial information, the dog that attacked its owner was a pit bull breed.

The reasons that led to the serious case are currently unclear. The animal was owned by the 48-year-old deceased man.

The teams of the municipal enterprise "Ecoravnovesie" have arrived and taken away the animal.

An investigation is underway. Neighbours of the man are also being interviewed.
