PM Petkov on Twitter regarding the lifting of the veto for North Macedonia’s EU accession talks: Today the Bulgarian Parliament took a historic decision

"Today the Bulgarian Parliament took a historic decision, giving the green light to the French proposal for North Macedonia's accession to the EU. The integration of the Western Balkans is of strategic interest for the EU".

This is what outgoing Prime Minister Kiril Petkov wrote on June 24 in relation to the decision of the Bulgarian Parliament to give a mandate to the Council of Ministers to accept the French EU Council Presidency's proposal for North Macedonia.
