After the end of the consultations with the parliamentary groups in the 47th National Assembly on June 28, President Rumen Radev said that he was about to hand a mandate for forming a cabinet within the incumbent Parliament to the largest political force "We Continue the Change".

The head of state did not specify on which day this will happen, but it became clear that there will be no consultations with "We Continue the Change" and BSP, which declined his invitation to meet on Monday and asked to reschedule the meetings because they were working on the budget update.

Earlier, “We Continue the Change” announced that consultations on forming a cabinet with the BSP, Democratic Bulgaria and independent MPs had begun.

The consultations came after the coalition government of Prime Minister Kiril Petkov resigned on June 27 after losing a vote of no confidence on June 22.
