President Radev greets the Jewish community in Bulgaria on Pesach holiday
Bulgaria’s President Radev on April 21 met with the President of the Shalom Organization of Jews in Bulgaria, prof. Alexander Oscar, the Chair of the Central Israelite Religious Council, Maxim Delchev, and Robert Dzherasi, Chair of the National Council of Religious Communities in Bulgaria, at the Presidentcy building.
President Rumen Radev greeted the Jewish community in Bulgaria on their holiday Pesach and wished them the best of health and prosperity.
The head of state highlighted the relations of friendship and respect between the presidential institution and the Jewish community in Bulgaria.
"As a President to all Bulgarians I express my deep respect to the religious tradition of all Bulgarians", Radev said.
He said that the mutual respect between different religious communities in Bulgaria is an integral part of the sustainable model of tolerance and understanding built in Bulgaria.
