President Radev: The government's priority is the profits of crony companies
There are reasonable doubts that the priority of the government is the profits of crony companies and not guaranteeing employment in the coal regions and the sustainability of the Bulgarian energy sector, President Rumen Radev said in Plovdiv commenting the protests of miners and energy workers on September 29.
"There are also doubts, justified doubts, that in the ruling coalition, the quarrels are about the portion of European money and not about the interests of the people," the Head of State said.
He pointed out that the only way to dispel these doubts and for the plans for a just transition to justify their name is to give clear guarantees for ensuring employment in the regions, for the sustainability of the Bulgarian energy sector and for preserving its autonomy to the maximum extent.
