President Radev: The tone of constructive dialogue which we are setting with Gordana Siljanovska should also be adopted by the government of North Macedonia
The tone of constructive, pragmatic and open dialogue that we are setting with the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, should also be adopted by the government of North Macedonia. The two presidential institutions show that constructive dialogue is possible and contributes to the development of good neighbourliness," President Rumen Radev said.
Radev and his North Macedonia’s counterpart,Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova met in Baku on November 13. The two held talks on the sidelines of the United Nations Climate Conference COP29.
In his words, the problem is not only with the timely inclusion of Bulgarians in the Constitution of North Macedonia.
"We expect the government and the Parliament to implement everything that is set in the negotiating framework and in the good neighbor agreement so that North Macedonia does not lose historical time for its EU membership. Everything will become clear in the not too distant future. If the state leadership of North Macedonia is really willing to join the European Union, they should implement the negotiating framework and the good neighbour agreement," Rumen Radev added.
