President Radev vetoed some amendments to the Law on Value Added Tax

President Rumen Radev vetoed paragraph 93 of the Law on Amendments to the Law on Value Added Tax, adopted on November 19 this year.

It introduces new provisions in the Consumer Credit Act, which are inadmissible in a state governed by the rule of law with a separation of powers, the press office of the head of state announced on November 25.

They restrict the right of defence and access of citizens to court, as well as impose a legally intolerable restriction on the power of the Bulgarian court to assess whether the contracts comply with the law and morality, the presidency added.
