Prof. Anastas Gerdzhikov: We have achieved our main goal - to be in a runoff in the presidential elections

We had two big goals. Weeks ago, polling agencies predicted that the Radev-Yotova team would win in the first round of the November 14 elections for president. However, nothing like that happened. We achieved our main goal - to be in a run-off. the candidate for president, Prof. Anastas Gerdzhikov, said after the announcement of the first exit poll results of the presidential elections.

"Our second big goal was to reduce the big difference in the result that everyone expected," he said.

We want to express our gratitude to all Bulgarians who supported us, said the candidate for vice-president, Nevyana Miteva.

According to Gallup, they won 24.9%, and according to Alpha Research - 26.5% of the vote.

"I will say two words about the parliament. We are convinced of one thing - no matter how many elections we hold, the result will be the same, but the so-called parties of change have the same number of votes, so if we hold elections five times, the result will be the same. We call on all political forces to try to form a regular government, "said Prof. Gerdzhikov.
