Russia expels 10 Bulgarian diplomats

Russia has declared 10 Bulgarian diplomats persona non grata, with a note that was handed to the Bulgarian ambassador Atanas Kristin.

The measure is in response to the expulsion of ten Russian diplomats from Bulgaria in March.

The office of Bulgarian foreign minister, Teodora Genchovsk, confirmed the information.

The employees at the Russian Embassy in Sofia were expelled for actions incompatible with the Vienna Convention.
