Second round of local elections: Voter turnout stands at 35.80% at 17:30

Voter turnout stands at 35.80% at 17:30, i.e. 1,430,691 people cast their vote, BNT reporter Marina Mateva, who is at Bulgaria’s Central Election Commission said.

Very low is the turnout in the coastal city of Varna – 23.37%.

In Sofia it was 33.33%.

Plovdiv (Bulgaria’s second largest city) – 23.74%

Rousse – 29.70%.

Blagoevgrad - 38.97%.

The turnout in Belene was high – 77.89% and in Devnya – 71.04%.
