Seven districts in Bulgaria are still Covid-19 dark red zones

Seven of the 28 districts in Bulgaria remain as the Covid-19 dark red zones based on 14 day morbidity per 100,000 population: Vratsa; Gabrovo; Montana; Pernik; Rousse; Sofia district and Sofia city.

Kardzhali and Silistra are now Covid-19 yellow zone, meaning less than 250 infected per 100,000 people.

The districts of Blagoevgrad, Bourgas, Varna, Veliko Turnovo, Vidin, Dobrich, Kyustndil, Lovech, Pazardzhik, Pleven, Plovdiv, Razgrad, Sliven, Smolyan, Stara Zagora, Targovishte, Haskovo, Shoumen and Yambol are in the Covid-19 red zone, meaning the 14 day morbidity is between 250 and 500 cases per 100,000 population.

The occupancy of hospital beds for patients with COVID-19 is also decreasing. As of December 5, 38% of the beds are available. 38.6% of the beds are available for conservative treatment of patients with coronavirus infection, and 32.3% of intensive beds in the country are available.
