Sillistar – a paradise spot on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast
One of the most beautiful bays on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast is located 5 km south of the village of Sinemorets.
Due to the deep bay, the water is almost always calm, warm and very clean.

The beach of Sillistar is about 1 km long and about 50 m wide and is covered with golden sand.

In 1992, Sillistar Park was declared a Protected Area. It is located on the territory of Strandzha Nature Park.
Sillistar is part of the areas for protection of wild birds and natural habitats.
Rare and protected birds such as bald eagle, black stork, rock dove and others nest on the dunes and rocks around.
For those who love swimming, the shore is very pleasant and gets deeper smoothly. There are underwater caves, there is a possibility of vortices. The beach is one of the favourite surfing spots on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast.
