Slivo Pole municipality declared a state of emergency on 2nd of June because of the damages caused by the storm on 1st of June, accompanied by heavy rain and hail. Serious damages were caused to the town of Slivo Pole and to the villages of Ryahovo, Kosharna, Stambolovo, Borisovo and Yudelnik (region of Rousse, North Bulgaria).
As a result of the storm there are fallen trees and five utility poles. Vegetable crops, fruit trees and wheat were destroyed. There are electricity and water supply disruptions in the villages.
Teams are working to remove the fallen trees and branches.
There are no injured people or material damages.
