Snow, high winds cause difficult driving conditions in Varna district

Due to heavy snowfall and strong winds the road situation in the coastal district of Varna , North-Eastern Bulgaria, on February 28 is complicated. This morning, in the direction of Dobrich, there were dozens of stranded and overturned cars. Fortunately, there were no injuries.

The cars have already been towed away by Road Aid, but due to snowdrifts the traffic is still disrupted. .

The section from Aksakovska Panorama to the village of Kichevo was closed for several hours until it was cleared and sanded.

However, drivers warn that there are many icy sections.
