Statue of a deity discovered by archaeologists in Heraclea Sintica near Petrich (see pics)
A large marble statue was discovered by archaeologists during excavations at the site of the ancient city of Heraclea Sintica near Petrich, Southwestern Bulgaria. The statue is of a deity and is very well preserved.
