Supreme Court of Cassation: No legal provisions allow change of gender
Transgender people cannot change their gender, according to a ruling by the Supreme Court of Cassation (SCC), February 20.
With 28 votes against and 21 with a dissenting opinion, the civil chamber of the SCC ruled that no legal provisions allow change of gender.
