The Governor of Bulgaria’s central bank tested positive for coronavirus
On October 27, Bulgarian National Bank’s Governor, Dimitar Radev, took a PCR test. He tested positive for coronavirus and therefore has been quarantined at home since yesterday.
His general condition is good and he continues to perform his basic duties remotely. On certain operational issues, he will delegate responsibilities to the relevant Deputy Governors for the duration of the quarantine.
The public and the BNB team will be informed in due time about the development of his health condition.
