The Head of the Patent Office has been replaced

By order of the caretaker Prime Minister Stefan Yanev, Petko Nikolov was dismissed from the post of Chairman of the Patent Office. Vladya Borisova has been appointed to the post, the press office of the Council of Ministers announced on June 16.

Vladya Borisova has been a member of the Academic Council with the Chairperson of the Patent Office since 2017.

She is the director of the Institute of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer at the University of National and World Economy.

She has a law degree and a degree in economics from the University of National and World Economy.
