The Identity of the Bulgarian Arrested in the Philippines was Confirmed

The 33-year-old Konstantin Kavrakov is from South Bulgarian city of Stara Zagora. Bulgaria’s Foreign Ministry told BNT on 4^th of August that 6 months ago he had attempted to renew his personal ID documents in the Bulgarian embassy in Hanoi.

Kavrakov is allegedly the leader of an international criminal network responsible for cloning debit and credit cards. He is suspected of hacking the bank account of Microsoft founder Bill Gates in 2011 was arrested in the Philippines.
