Two new deputy ministers appointed at Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Labour and Social Policy
Two new deputy ministers have been appointed in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy on June 9.
Tania Georgieva (Dabnishka) takes over as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food. Until now, she held the post of Executive Director of the Association of Farmers in Bulgaria. In the period 2018 – 2022, she was a key expert in the National Rural Network Management Unit of the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020. In 2021, she was nominated as Bulgaria's representative to the European Economic and Social Committee in the Agriculture, Rural Development, Environment section. She has also been a guest lecturer at the Master's Degree of the Department of Agricultural Economics of the University of Economics in Varna. She is an ecologist by education.
Ginka Mashova-Stancheva was appointed Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Policy. She has been working at the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy for almost five years, most recently as head of the Directorate for Disability Policy, Equal Opportunities and Social Benefits. Before that she was part of the team of the State Agency for Child Protection. From 2003 to 2006, she was a senior expert at the Social Assistance Agency. She is a financier by education.
