Underwater search for the black box of MIG-29 fighter jet that went down in the Black sea halted by weather

Due to the bad weather conditions, the search operation for the black box and debris from the MiG-29 fighter jet which crashed into the Black sea near Shabla was temporarily suspended.

The Navy Headquarters said an analysis would be made and a decision would be made on when and how to continue the operation. So far there is no trace of the aircraft’s black box. No new debris was found.

Ships of the Navy joined the search. Private companies and the Institute of Oceanology provided free equipment for underwater inspection.
