Vazrazhdane: Bulgarian people gave a vote of no confidence in parliamentary democracy in Bulgaria
The Bulgarian people gave a vote of no confidence in parliamentary democracy in Bulgaria, “Vazrazhdane” leader Kostadin Kostadinov said on June 10 at a press conference of the party after the June 9 elections.
In his words, there are two possible scenarios for a national government.
"The first possible scenario is the formation of a government that will postpone the inevitable end of those who enter it. Whoever enters such a government, in effect, will not come out alive. The second option is to have no government and go to elections, which is quite possible," Kostadinov added.
Vazrazhdane's main goal remains to prevent Bulgaria from entering the conflict in Ukraine, Kostadinov said.
He explained that the party's goal is to form its own parliamentary group in the European Parliament.
"Our goal is to form our own parliamentary group in the EP, it is not sure if it will happen, but talks continue," Kostadinov said.
