Weak earthquake felt during the night in the region of Plovdiv
A weak earthquake was felt in Plovdiv, Southern Bulgaria, in the early hours (shortly before 1.00 a.m.) on February 16.
According to the Seismological Centre of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, its magnitude was 3.6 on the Richter scale.
There are no reports of injured people and material damage.
The epicentre was about 4 km from the town of Assenovgrad.
Some people commented that a loud noise was heard.
