With Covid-19 cases re-surging, Varna district pauses non-emergency surgeries

As of January 18, the hospitals in the district of Varna halts elective surgeries and planned admissions.

The measure does not apply activities related to transplantation of organs, tissues and cells, diagnostics and treatment of patients with oncological and oncohematological diseases, assisted reproduction and births, regardless of the method of delivery, rehabilitation activities, long-term treatment and psychiatric care.

Visits to patients in hospitals are prohibited, except for visits of patients in terminal stage of an illness
