'BSP-United Left' candidate Natalia Kiselova: The political crisis is deepening
The results of the exit poll are not something that should make us happy. It shows that the political crisis from which we need to get out is, on the contrary, deepening, Assoc. Professor. Natalia Kiselova, constitutionalist, candidate from "BSP - United Left" said after the end of election day on October 27.
"BSP-United Left is doing its own parallel count and for this reason until the results are released by the members of the CEC, there will be no comment. The whole campaign that BSP - United Left has conducted has shown that we are looking for efforts to get out of the political crisis. However, to form a government, there must be a decision of the National Council of the BSP and the Coalition Council "BSP - United Left" and only then it can be said that any government can be supported. We are not commenting with which government-forming mandate and which candidate for prime minister, "said Assoc. Prof. Kiselova.
Asked whether BSP - United Left would have a dialogue on forming a government with GERB, she said.
"There is an explicit decision of the Congress of the BSP not to have a coalition with GERB, for this reason at the moment I cannot comment specifically about GERB," she noted.
"It is right to have efforts for talks and for concrete policies in the National Assembly. I hope that the left, despite the frail trust it has gained, will convince the Bulgarian citizens that without the left there will be no democracy," she summed up.
