Autopsy shows no link between the death of a woman from Plovdiv and Covid-19 vaccine
Autopsy on the woman from Plovdiv who died hours after receiving an AstraZeneca vaccine against Covid-19 concluded that there was no link between the vaccine and the death, Bogdan Kirilov, the executive director of the Bulgarian Drug Agency said on March 18 a briefing in connection with the resumption of vaccination with Astra Zeneca in Bulgaria.
"The Bulgarian Drug Agency conducted analyses, which confirm that there are no problems in the quality of the vaccine. An analysis was made of one of the batches, so at this stage we have every reason to cancel the order that temporarily suspended the use of the vaccine," Kirilov said.
Earlier today, the Minister of Health Kostadin Angelov told Btv channel that the forensic examination of the deceased woman did not prove a link between the vaccine, and the cause of the death. No thrombosis was observed, he said.
