Budget Committee adopts ban on gambling advertising in the media
The Committee on Budget and Finance in the Parliament on April 30 adopted at second reading the amendments to the Gambling Act, submitted by GERB-UDF and MRF.
The texts, which will be considered in plenary chamber, ban gambling advertising in media. Billboards are allowed, but they must be at least 300 metres away from educational establishments.
The changes ban gambling halls in settlements with population of up to 10,000 people, except in border towns and resorts, reports BNR.
It also restricts the length of stay and the maximum amount of bets at online sites.
