Bulgaria sends armoured personnel carriers to Ukraine, free of charge
The National Assembly on November 22 conclusively approved the provision of armoured transport equipment to Ukraine free of charge.
The 100 armoured personnel carriers (APCs) to be sent to Kiev are from the armament of the Ministry of Interior, not the defence. The machines are no longer needed by the Ministry of Interior.
The Bulgarian Socialist Party and Vazrazhdane accused the other parties of national treason. The debate went from how the APCs could be used for border security to how many of the MPs have been conscripts.
