Bulgaria’s government on September 7 declared September 8 as a Day of National Mourning for the victims who died in the floods in the municipality of Tsarevo on September 5, 2023.
Two men and two women lost their lives in the floods. Before the start of the cabinet meeting, the prime minister and ministers honoured their memory with a minute's silence.
