Caretaker PM Dimitar Glavchev called for a fair and transparent election campaign
Speaking after the ceremony of raising the flag of the European Union in front of the presidential institution on the occasion of Europe Day, caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev called for. fair and transparent election campaign.
"In these elections, 3 times more numbers will be processed from the election protocols than in the previous elections. The number in the RECs is the same, which will lead to a delay in presenting the official results, so that there is no speculation that something is being done in the dark. There is nothing to be done, the number of RECs is fixed. Let no tension be build up that results are being delayed because of other practices. Whatever depends on us we will do it," Glavchev added and called on the public for more tolerance.
He stressed that preparations for the elections were on schedule.
He commented on his meeting with President Rumen Radev: "We talked a lot with the President - both about the domestic situation and the international situation."
Let's see what kind of government will be formed, I hope that the Republic of North Macedonia will continue its European perspective, we have no more concessions to make, our position is generally European, this is how Dimitar Glavchev commented on the results of the elections held in the Republic of North Macedonia.
"Our friends from North Macedonia are certainly aware that if they do not comply with the requirements for accession to the European Union, it will not work", Dimitar Glavchev said. He expressed his expectation that Bulgaria would be admitted to the land-based Schengen by the end of the year. Glavchev said that the Malko Tarnovo border crossing point will be expanded soon.
