Caretaker PM Glavchev after the meeting with the President: The dialogue continues
Caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev on April 19 discussed with President Rumen Radev the proposals for changes in the caretaker government. The meeting ended without result. Glavchev commented only that the dialogue with the President continues and until he signs a decree to change the ministers, the old ones remain in their posts.
"I have not proposed anything, the communication with the President continues. As I have said during these days, you see that there is dialogue, the dialogue continues. I have no news to report. The old ministers will continue to fulfill their duties until the President issues a decree for their replacement," Glavchev said on his way out of the presidency.
A week after taking office, caretaker Prime Minister, Dimitar Glavchev, sent letters to the President proposing the replacements of the ministers of foreign affairs and agriculture and food.
Glavchev proposed that caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs, Stefan Dimitrov, be replaced with GERB Deputy Chairman, Daniel Mitov, and that caretaker Minister of Agriculture, Kiril Vatev, be replaced with Georgi Tahov.
