Code yellow alert for dangerously hot weather
The weather on June 18 will be sunny and hot with maximum temperatures between 32° and 37°, in Sofia - around 31°. In the next few hours, cumulus and cumulus-rain clouds will form over the mountainous regions and northeastern Bulgaria and in some places it will rain and thunder.
Light wind will blow from the east-southeast.
The hot weather will persist tomorrow, with a yellow code alert for dangerously high temperatures in many parts of the country.
Temperatures between 33° and 38° are expected, slightly lower on the Black Sea coast, in Sofia - around 33°. It will be sunny, in Eastern Bulgaria with a light easterly wind.
For those getting up early, minimum temperatures will be between 16 and 21 degrees, in Sofia - around 16.
Along the Black Sea coast it will also be sunny, but a breeze will blow. Maximum temperatures there tomorrow will be between 25° and 30°.
The sea water temperature is 23° - 24°, slightly lower north of Kaliakra cape. The sea waves will be about 10 to 50 cm.
And in the mountains it will be sunny, in the afternoon with insignificant cumulus clouds. The wind will be light, mainly from the northeast.
There will be maximum temperatures tomorrow and will rise further. On the highest peaks, temperature will be between 13 and 16 degrees.
In the Balkans it will be sunny, in most areas and quiet.
However, clouds will persist tomorrow over western and parts of central Europe, with showers in many areas, with conditions for thunderstorms in the afternoon. It will be mainly sunny in the British Isles and most of Spain.
In Bulgaria, it will be sunny for the next few days until late this week and early next week with more clouds in the afternoon, but little chance of showers. It will remain hot - maximum temperatures will be between 33° and 38°, slightly lower along the Black Sea coast.
