Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 295 new cases, positivity rate is 8.5%

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 295 from 3,453 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 19, 2023.

Test positivity rate is 8.5%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,302,562.

The active cases are 2,626.

Of the total, 345 patients are in hospitals, 44 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 594 recoveries;
• 76 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;
• 9 Covid-19 related deaths.
