Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 2,987 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,987 from 10,653 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on July 26.

Test positivity rate is 31%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,198,359

The active cases are 20,081.

Of the total, 891 patients are in hospitals, 44 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

•1,432 recoveries;

• 2,455 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 12 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 64.25% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 75,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 219 new hospitalisations, of which 76,26% had not been vaccinated.
