Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 643 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 643 from 3,977 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on July 7.

The test positivity rate is over 16%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country are 1,175,725.

The active cases are 26,574.

Of the total, 425 patients are in hospitals, 35 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 13,039 recoveries;

• 2,269 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 2 Covid-19 related death.

Of the daily cases, 59,72% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 68 new hospitalisations, of which 70,59% had not been vaccinated.
