Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 665 new cases, 7 deaths

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 665 from 5,949 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 26.

Test positivity rate is slightly above 11%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,276,146.

The active cases are 9,879.

Of the total, 697 patients are in hospitals, 55 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 931 recoveries;

• 1,157 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 7 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 59,25% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 117 new hospitalisations, of which 66,67% had not been vaccinated.
