Legendary train "Orient Express" made a stop in Bulgaria's Ruse and Varna (update)
At exactly 12.45 p.m. on June 4, 2024, the legendary train "Orient Express" with 96 passengers from all over the world arrived at the Central Railway Station in Ruse. The train has 15 carriages and 120 seats and is favoured by passengers from all over the world as well as celebrities such as Angelina Jolie and the British royal family.
Bulgarian Nikolay Simeonov works as a senior steward in the crew of the most famous train in the world. According to him, in recent years there has been an increase in the number of Bulgarians travelling with the "Orient Express".
The lowest fare on the Orient Express is 8,000 euros. The price varies depending on the class of compartment and the length of the journey. The train's next stops are in Varna and Istanbul, and on June 8 at 9.05am sharp, the Orient Express will stop again at Ruse railway station. This time the train will stay for 90 minutes.
