Powerful storm toppled trees, ripped off roofs, villages still without electricity in Stara Zagora region (VIideo)
Several settlements in the Opan municipality of Stara Zagora district (Southern Bulgaria) have been without electricity for hours because of a powerful storm yesterday afternoon, July 20.
The village of Kravino was the most affected from the disaster.
The stormy wind has brought down roofs of houses, chimneys and toppled many trees. No people were injured.
Clearance in the storm damaged areas and damage assessment continues today, July 21.
According to the mayor of the village, there is damage in every property.
