Tourism in the modern world is the foundation without which the other sectors of social and economic life cannot fully develop, the President said. He pointed out that Bulgaria invests very little in advertising its tourism sector compared to other countries and highlighted the potential of archaeology, where there is a need to build adjacent infrastructure to make our numerous archaeological sites more accessible to visitors from all over the world.
The President congratulated the representatives of the tourism industry for their efforts, who, despite the challenges, have managed to achieve significant successes in their activities.
